Early Childhood Expert

Stacie is an expert in Early Childhood Education who has been on the cutting edge of the Early Childhood Education movement for 15 years.

Stacie believes that early childhood is a special and sacred time in a young child’s life and that their education experience during this time should be unique.   Over time she has cultivated a vision for early childhood education that is grounded in empathy and connection between student and educator.  She believes that play and exploration are key to the development of skills critical to navigating the world like critical thinking, problem solving, and executive function.  She believes kids should be talking and engaging in hands-on learning experiences.  That schools should reflect, embrace, and honor the identities, life experiences, and cultures of children, families, and educators.  That educators should engage families deeply as partners to ensure their child’s success.  And finally, that educators must be committed to their growth as professionals as a key driver to their students’ success.

Stacie advises programs that are starting early childhood programs on all aspects of start-up from building early childhood content knowledge, to setting an instructional vision and choosing curriculum, to creating and executing a vision for hiring and more.  This service is well pared with site visits in preparation to opening or once the program opens.

In addition to expertise in setting and strengthening an overall vision for Early Childhood excellence, Stacie has in-depth knowledge in the successful implementation of the Tools of the Mind Curriculum and has been a certified CLASS observer.  For schools looking for concrete solutions she highly recommends both as levers for change and can support your school as they implement Tools or adopt CLASS as a backbone for learning.
